Recent reviews for this item: John, June 11, 2013 Don't plan to drive in Italy without this GPS map! Seriously! It saved us numerous times in our recent trip throughout Italy. Road signs in Italy are often poorly marked and hard to find and you have to deal with all those confusing roundabouts. It was not as reliable in Firenzie (Florence) as in the countyside, but my Garmin may have been acting up after being dropped. You might consider taking a second, back-up GPS just in case yours gets damaged. We would have been hopelessly lost without our Garmin. The recent map update for Italy is so simple to use. I would
recommend this product to all. Joe, May 13, 2012 Worked well, once the GPS unit figured out where we were no
longer in Canada. Getting that first reading took days. Not
the maps fault. Hank, November 6, 2011 I was very disappointed with this product. It took an
inordinate amount of time for the Garmin to find satellites
and when it finally did, the directions were inconsistent,
contradictory or incorrect. I was traveling with someone
who had a similar product from Tom Tom and it worked far
better than this one. I have always loved my Garmin, but
the Italy maps were a major disappointment.
