This card worked very well in Panama City. But it did not
provide the needed routing in other parts of the country.
It was difficult to find locations, towns or sights on the
maps or with searches. The routes provided were confusing,
at times wrong and often unreliable. It was frustrating to
use. The GPS signals were strong so it was difficult to
understand why the maps and routes were not as good.

I bought the card for a trip to Costa Rica. Its possible to
rent a gps from the car rental company however the price of
the card was less than an 8 day gps rental. Since my Nuvi
550 worked fine - the purchase of the card was the way to
go. Costa Rica didn't seem to have numbered street
addresses so a gps is needed. Not sure if it was the
operator, but specific hotel names didn't seem to come up
until within 10/15 kms. It was easy to simply get to the
area, re-attempt, and the hotel would show up. Since I'd
like to get back to Costa Rica in another yr or two, the
card is worth it. Getting into the Monteverde area, the gps
sent us the long way - route selection via the gps maybe not
the best.

The chip fir neatly into our GPS ans has allowed us to
travel in busy cities and the emptiest of rural areas in
Argemtina. We could not have made this trip without it!

We rented a car in Mendoza, Argentina and drove 1250 miles
North to Salta, Argentina. The area is quite rural with few
towns. The GPS knew all the inter-city roads, including the
dirt ones that see only a handful of cars per day and are
hard to find on Google Maps. It only knew the city streets
in larger towns, for small towns it knew only the main route
passing through. Installation could not be easier - stick
card into GPS and your are ready to go. Landmark
programming could be better - even some National Parks were
not in the database. Combining the GPS with a good paper
map (purchased locally) worked great for us!
