I have always used Garmins in the past, I have
owned a NUVI 660, Nuvi 880, and I bought my wife
a Nuvi 785. So you can tell I have been a big fan
of the brand.
Now to the Navigon. I purchased through Amazon
with the thought that it BETTER BE GOOD! To my
suprise it has been just that. It has a few
quirky things, but so does the Garmins. I have
used them side by side and the Navigon seems to
be more accurate on arrival times from a
distance. I think this is based on the speed
limits are all 20MPH in front of schools (day,
night, weekends), so it's arrival times are
always a few minutes more until you are in a
place where their are no more school zones. The
Garmin does not allow for these.
The POI on the Garmin is much easier (to enter a
name).
