about one month ago, I wrote that nuvi 3750 could not be
detected by computer.
But I found that this was my mistake.
I attached Mount and connected USB cable to the battery
socket of the Mount.
The Mount covers the USB socket of the device, I cound not
find USB socket of the device.
Now the device is detected by computer.
Your nuvi 3750 has no problem! Sorry to make mistake.

I was nervous about buying a unit that was
re-certificated/refurbished but I wasn't eager to pay full
price either.
in this case my gamble payed off, unit works perfectly,
seems just like new right off the assembly line.
works great as a handheld and the screen is far bigger than
any garmin units that are actual handhelds. of course it
doesn't have all the features of my older gpsmap 78 but at
least I can see where the heck I am without a magnifying glass.
battery life is only 4 hours but you can put the unit in
sleep mode which helps with that drawback.

As good as they get

I have had 2 Lowrance units and found their layout initially
far more user friendly and far fewer key stokes to navigate
the functions. However, the hardware portions of the units
was not very reliable. The updated Garmin unit is nice to
use even if it does not appear as accurate for elevation or
speed. It's great plus is the screen is easy to see even
with polarized sunglasses
