Bought this particular model because of the European maps
included. We used it for 1 week in London on foot as well
as public transit and it worked well. We then used it on
foot in Barcelona for a week and it worked well there too.
We switched to a car in various parts of Spain and except
for some strange pronunciations of street names, it was
great. The only downside I have found is the spotty
responsiveness of the touchscreen when entering info.

The 1370T works well - once you have managed to enter the
required data. It locates satellites very rapidly, even
when the device was activated in Europe for the first time,
using the Europe Maps. The big problem is the touch screen.
It is not at all responsive. A screen ikon has to be
pressed repeatedly before it "takes", so it is very
impractical, not to say exceedingly dangerous to use it
while driving (unless it is being operated by a passenger).
I contacted Garmin about the matter, and (after a 40min
wait on hold) the customer service rep. guided me through
the firmware update, which had no effect on the problem.
They now tell me to perform a master system update - as I am
still abroad, this will have to wait until I return, but I
am not very optimistic.

This unit replaced my Nuvi 700 series and offers itself as a
great upgrade. The only thing that stops a 5 star rating is
the screen, either the colours Garmin chose or the screen
itself, but the viewing angle seem to be tighter making it
hard for both the driver and passenger to see the screen at
the same time.

find my house ok from there. lol I have found it is kind
of slow when telling you where to turn in big citys i have
already went by before it says where to turn. and it keeps
telling me to drive to higher ground and im as high as i
can get but if you start driving it will take a little bit
it finely will till you your going the wrong way and to
make a U turn. It gets me there. My tom tom was better
