to last in a situation where the GPS is installed/removed
with any frequency. The unit has a roller that requires the
unit to flex a good bit to get the GPS in or out. As a
result the arm cracks. I had three of these replaced under warranty before I decided to modify one. All I did was
remove the roller and trim down the ears that held it in
place. This leaves a small ridge that still holds the GPS securely, but no longer requires teh amount of flex that it
