I am very please with this GPS unit. I had a Nuvi 265wt
originally mainly for the bluetooth connection to a cell
phone. I returned the 265wt unit for the 765T as it has the
ability for routes, FM transmitter and MP3 player.
Both units had troubles with the bluetooth connection to my
cellphone, a Palm Treo 700w. When the GPS unit was powered
down, it would not reconnect on the next power on. I had to
remove the battery from the cell phone to re-establish the
connection. I changed my phone (never did like that Palm)
to a Blackberry Curve 8530. All problems with bluetooth
connections have gone. It works flawlessly.
A feature That I do like is when you play MP3 files via the
FM transmitter. When you power on the unit it remembers the
last song that was being played and it carries on from
there. This means you do not have to press the play button
when you switch on the unit.
The only issue I have with it is sometimes it has trouble
acquiring satellite signals when we go to the lake. Sorry I
don't have the Lat/long of the lake. I may have to get an
external antenna to help with that.

Great GPS overall, I love it. Upgraded from a Nuvi 350 and
the new Traffic feature is great. I have found a couple of
problems however:
1) When on the text input screens, the screen freezes for a
few seconds. This doesn't happen all the time but
frequently enough to be annoying.
2) The FM transmitter is not very strong - you can hear
static in the background when the car audio system volume is
high.
3) I have found that if you are using the built in Audio/MP3
player and there is traffic ahead and you switch to the
Traffic map, the GPS will sometimes shut off. You can turn
it back on but it is annoying that it shuts off. If you are
in the city, downtime of a couple seconds can cause you to
miss turns.

This GPS has crashed, totally dead after only a few hours
of usage. It is always late on his indications, there is a
delay in getting the directions, so you miss the proper
exit. Garmin Quebec service center has offered a
replacement with a refirbished, not a new one. This is
against law in Quebec.
