design that requires the unit to be in te cradle in order to
charge the battery, despite having a USB port in the unit
itself, is mystifying.
On the other hand, I have to include a note on this vendor.
Most companies want at least $6.50 for shipping, or some
percentage of the cost of the product. GPS City charged
$2.50! It arrived by US Postal Service mail in three days.
Kudos to GPS City for not padding prices with handling
charges, and for using the most cost-effective shipper and
passing the savings to me, the consumer.There is no doubt
that this is now my first choice for GPS-related supplies. Bob, December 23, 2010 Already had the mount kit for my car, but needed another
power dock for use in my cradle on a motorcycle. This
minimizes wear n tear and time moving the dock from one
mount to another. The kit is high quality n works fine.
