| Turns out this GPS does not output a format that I needed, so
it it useless to me. If it is a Garmin, I am sure it works
great, but I will never know. | |

| The new 18x is very fast to aquire, very acurate with WASS.
Very easy to setup fo use on HAM APRS or the new Uniden
Scanner HP-1. The price is hard to beat.
This is a true RS-232 serial port GPS. It is also a 5vdc
GPS, which Garmin has solved by putting a Cig lighter 12vdc
adapter on the end. DO NOT CUT OFF THE CIG LIGHTER ADAPTER
AND PLUG INTO 12VDC DIRECT. YOU WILL BURN OUT THE GPS. | |

| Attempts to use a USB Connection with Geomedia, and Vista
did not work. This Serial connection GPS solved the
problem. | |
