the 2.5 ball mount. It does NOT move in rough water were as
the other does. Its also alot easier to take the mount off

steady environment. Mount's two point adjustment is perfect
for making the unit available while at driver seat or when
needed viewing from either front or back of boat. Swing
arm base plate mount fits flush but should have a 1/8 -
1/4" riser on the shank as the mounting hardware when
installed for your sounder's gimbal baracket will catch on
the swing arm when pivoted unless unscrewed enough to allow
the base plate to be twisted/walked over the top of the
swing arm without marring the surface.
