Recent reviews for this item: Rod, August 30, 2012 A very solid and adjustable base. A definite 5 stars. For
space reasons, I had to mount the wall bracket up side down
and file off the arm attachment ridges so that the rubber
washer could fit flat. The mount still worked great. This unit
can take the constant movement of my sailboat without moving
from the position that I place it in. Refreshing to buy a

install. A quality product that will last a life time. If
your in the market for a mount this is the one for you. Mike, May 9, 2011 This is a very nice swing arm mount, I will be using it in
my sailboat to mount my chartplotter/GPS inside the
companionway to swing out and be visible from the cockpit,
and be protected from the elements and out of sight when not
in use. It appears very well constructed using very good
materials and is very strong. The only reason I do not give
it 4 or 5 starts is there are quite a few flaws in the
castings for the various pieces that detract from the
appearance. These are only cosmetic but for the price I was
hoping to get something with a better appearance. It will
do just fine, neither my boat nor myself are particularly
attractive so it will fit in well, but I was hoping it would
be a bit nicer appearance-wise..
