your in the market for a mount this is the one for you. Mike, May 9, 2011 This is a very nice swing arm mount, I will be using it in
my sailboat to mount my chartplotter/GPS inside the
companionway to swing out and be visible from the cockpit,
and be protected from the elements and out of sight when not
in use. It appears very well constructed using very good
materials and is very strong. The only reason I do not give
it 4 or 5 starts is there are quite a few flaws in the
castings for the various pieces that detract from the
appearance. These are only cosmetic but for the price I was
hoping to get something with a better appearance. It will
do just fine, neither my boat nor myself are particularly
attractive so it will fit in well, but I was hoping it would
be a bit nicer appearance-wise.. Steven, January 25, 2011 Works great on my boat, for what I wanted. Sailer, November 8, 2010 More heavy duty than expected. No problem supporting my
chart plotter (10 inches display) in the boat.
