I bought a Standard Horizon 180 Chartplotter for my
27ftJenneau Fantasia Sailboat but had no where to mount it.
The Ram mount vertical swing arm solved this by mounting on
the stern pushpit slopping tube making it readable from the
tiller posistion. Its also easily removed for safe storage
by removing the ball portion and plotter for storage below
decks. Works great.

The item works well. But more to the point the customer
service was tremendous. On the phone or with emails I was
helped every step of the way to make sure the item worked
perfectly for my application - even to the extent that the
customer service representative went to the warehouse and
assembled the item himself!

I was using the swing arm to hold my Garmin GPS in the
companionway of my boat. I swapped the base plate for a
piece that had the disc instead because the holes line up
better with the mounting disc on the GPS Base. Now it
moves, swings and positions much more effectively for my
situation. I also mounted it upside-down to better maximise
my space and positioning of the GPS when in motion.
