In my application of supporting a large industrial tablet (Xplore C4) and full size keyboard mounted to a stand mounted to the floor of a full size 4x4 pickup the work ok. The weight is a bit much for the rubber balls. The rubber is a bit too soft for the amount of tightening required to minimize vibration sag which results in the balls becoming deformed over time allow the unit to sag. Good versatility as I can rotate the ball positions with in the mounting system (RAM triple cradle plate adapter) to fully destroy the balls before needing replacement-about 5 years in an idustrial environment.
