laptop especially when doing night observations. The stock
Ram mounts were high causing a fear of breaking the screen
if closed too hard.
These mounts are designed to actually closse your lid.
After purchase my Chief ordered a set for all our Officers. ek, August 13, 2012 use these myself, like them better than what come with the

It fits like a glove around my laptop and holds it very
securely. Well worth the money. I have no problem
immediately closing the lid when I exit the vehicle or
driving. RAM products are professional grade, and are
designed to last many years. Overall, works better than I

well but WHY they sold me this product is a mystery to me.
My laptop/tablet does not require anything like this. ???
