| I orginally ordered the wrong part.(my mistake) I needed an
attachment for a 3/4 rail but the one I got was too big.You
might want to verify with CS before ordering if you need
the small one. GPS city exchanged it quickly with no
problems. The base mounts fine and sturdy. Just what I
needed. CAUTION before you check angles or location with
an arm or other attachment, install the included black
bolt caps. I scratched my dual socket arm moving it around!
No fault of the product just FYI. | |

| This mount is working great for me. It holds an HDS-5 just
fine on my bass boat, even at 60+ ) I wouldn't have
bought it to hold anything larger, but it holds tight so it
might work. | |

| I imagine this mount would work well on tubing other than
aluminum, but if you are mounting on aluminum, it does mess
it up. | |
