docking station (with port replicator) from RAM.
I don't understand why RAM does not include this with the
dock. I'm sure there is a reason, but it was frustrating. I
(thought) I was ready to install the dock and gee, what do I
attach it with? I searched the box. Nothing. I finally poked
around RAM's site and figured out no, nothing was missing
from the box the docking station came in. There was no
mount. Then I had to figure out exactly what I needed,
finally found this one (and verified measurements), and then
had to wait for yet another part to arrive.
What bugs me in particular is the docking station came with
3 screws and it has holes that line up perfectly with the
3.68 inch plate. Now, if a manufacturer makes the dock
station WITH the mounting screws and WITH a 3.68 inch flat
round plate (indented)... no exactly an industry standard
size or shape... why don't they include the friggin ball
mount??? :(
