ball arm works to keep the mount out of the way.
Bending the legs around for a fit took me and my
girlfriend about an hour, but by the time we were
done the legs were out of the way of the seats and
the seats still have the full range of sliding
forward and backward (also the legs don't
interfere with the hidden tray under the passenger
seat). Further, I have all-weather mats in my CR-
V and those can still be removed fairly easily.
Only thing I am thinking about changing is to get
a longer arm to connect the two balls on the mount
and laptop try (there's not much leg room
available with the included arm). I highly
recommend this mount for anyone with a small SUV

TO MOULD THE LEGS IN PROPER SHAPE (VARIOUS LENGTH OF ALUMINUM TUBING) AND A MIXED OF NUTS AND BOLTS. GIVING RAM TYPE OF VEHICLE LEAD ME TO BELIEVE
SHAPING OF LEGS, WERE IN FACT IT WAS A ONE SIZE FITS ALL. FELT VERY FORTUNATE TO GET SOME ONE TO INSTALL. Brent, May 21, 2007 I ordered one of these mounts to use with our tablet PC's. It proved very useful in our test and so I ordered 6 more for all my users in the field. We do data collection and GIS mapping in our vehicles and have a variety of company and personal vehicles that are used and the universal no-drill design has worked wonderfully. The install is very easy and interchangeable from one vehicle to another. The hardware seems to be very durable even on the ATV's we have installed them on. Of the 7 I have only had 1 minor product failure and it has been from overtightening of a hand screw. I would recommend this item for use and will be ordering more as future projects may dictate.
