Recent reviews for this item: Clyde, February 8, 2013 I have a Street Pilot 2720 which is kind of large and heavy. I had purchased a cradle for it from GPSCity some time ago and made a dash shelf for it on my R1100RT. I found that I did not like that arrangement very well. I wanted the gps closer to the left handle bar and lower. This socket arm is perfect. It bolted right to the cradle that I have and attached to the handle bar mount and can be adjusted in a wide range of positions. Unlike the home made shelf, the arm does not seem to affected by vibration. I wish I had ordered it first. Brian, July 30, 2012 I purchased this for my goldwing. It held my gps as
