Recent reviews for this item: legs, February 28, 2013 I bought this in conjuction with the motorcycle double ball mount with the intention of mounting it with a GPS. I thought it would be good to hold, if not a water bottle, misc items for a long trip. It's pretty big, and finding the right position so as not to obstruct everything has been difficult. I imagine for people using it for different applications, like in a car or truck, would want the base very secure to avoid the weight of it to rip out of what its attached to. fit it. Jerry, July 16, 2012 Anything that sticks out more than 20% unbalances the
holder and it gets tippy. It also does not cradle and
centre beverages so anything not the perfect size will
rattle back and forth in the cup holder. It needs some
fingers or such to centre the load in the holder and keep
