Garmin. The mounting/releasing of the GPS unit is primitive and
less user friendly, and the wire connection is also more
difficult. Ralph, October 5, 2012 Since I mounted this on a small bike and didn't want it in the
center of the bar I had to modify, with files, the fit of the
bar clamp to the bar because of a bit of a curve where it was
mounted. I also modified the lower arm clamp so that I could
swing the gps farther to the side. Not a complaint, just
wanted people to know that it can be made to fit most
anything. Kem, September 17, 2012 Works great Joewillie, September 17, 2012 I was a little concerned about houw this would look in
comparison to the "mainstream" appproach (that is with the
Road Tech Zumo series gps and HD mounts) which are at least
$1000 more than my set-up. I put a Nuvi 550 on with this
mount and it works great and looks great. I like the
placement of the gps much better than the fariing mount
recommended by HD.
