perfect for my eTrex 30. And you can have it plugged in to
charger in this mount without modification. If you halfway
put the eTrex in the holder and then insert the USB-cable
and then click in in the rest of the way it fits fine. Derrick, February 15, 2012 This ram mount is the one suggested for the Garmin E-trex 20
but when the unit is mounted with the 12 volt power cord
attached - it doesn't fit! If the 12 volt connection on the
unit was turned 180 degrees around, there would be no
problem. Another option would be to change the 12 volt power
supply cable - instead of having a 90 degree turn in the
connection, it could be designed to go straight in.
Thanks to GPS City, they recognize the problem with the ram
mount / 12 volt connection and refunded me for the ram
mount. Ram has been working to design another mount for the
E-trex 20 and I look forward to getting it.
