Great suction cup and multi-adjustable possibilities. Use
the suction cup version in my car and bought an extra round
plate mounted in my ATV. Sturdy when tightened up. Good
quality product.

I used this suction cup mount to hold my iPad3 on my
window. It works well and is quite strong.
Unfortunately, it is difficult to adjust because of the
rubber sag built into the system. I loosen the knob,
adjust where I like and and then tighten. When I let go,
the rubber components in the suction cup sag a bit and the
iPad ends up 1/2" lower than I would like it. If you have
space, you can just set it a bit higher than you like and
it will sag into place perfectly, but in my install I cant
do that.
Also, the angles you can twist this mount to are somewhat
limited. If you align the ball axles you can twist
further, but sometimes that doesn't work.
Overall it is the best solution I have found and not very
expensive so you should give it a try for your install.

The suction mount works really well on my windshield.
Given the slope of the z's windshield, the extension that
comes with the unit isn't really long enough to mount my
radar detector straight without the unit hitting the
windshield. Still trying to work with this and explore
other mounting solutions, or even buying a longer
extension.
