This setup is ideal for severe application, but it will be
nice if RAM could have an adaptor (ball to ball and without
any flange or weird connection) from 1" to 17mm. Such
adaptor could allow Garmin owners to use the regular Garmin

quality. Easy to assemble and made to do the job Gint, April 10, 2011 Excellent GPS mount. Gives me the extension I need for the
GPS off the windshield rather than the small mount that came
with my 3790T. Only issue I have with it is the patent
pending "roller" feature. It puts excessive stress on the
LCD screen and you can see it discolour and deform when
snapping into the mount. To remedy this problem I removed
the roller and modified my mount and problem solved!
