Recent reviews for this item: Hunter, April 3, 2013 Item came disassembled and was difficult to put together. The way the top bracket and bottom brackets attache to the backboard with tiny screws is a concern. The top and bottom brackets are positioned in such a way that installing the screws that hold them in place means the screws are installed at an angle. Due to the angle of the screws during installation the heads if the screws were stripped therefore they did not get the proper torque.
I feel that more thought should go into the assembly of the product and not just the overall design of a product.
All in all it should work as expected but I fear that in the case of this mount for my use the top and bottom brackets may fail over time.
