Recent reviews for this item: pier, May 2, 2011 i've tried about 6 or 7 generic store bought pda mounts in
the last few years. in my opinion, this mount is the
sturdiest mount i've tried. i'm in my work vehicle for
about 12 hours 5 or 6 days a week. sometimes in a hurry on
bumpy roads. sometimes parked and using my pda while in the
ram mount. i removed the bottom holder legs and turned the
cradle upside down so the adjustable side clamping arms
wouldn't affect the side buttons and it still holds my
device securely with just the side arms. hands down, there
is no other mount out there that is as seriously solid as
Ram. since i bought this mount, i've purchased a Ram mount
for my laptop, a Ram self-leveling cup holder to mount a
drink away from my electronics and a second pda mount for my
ipod.
personally, i think this product is worth every cent i paid
for it and for buying online in canada, gpscity is the only
way to go. shipping options are incredible and geared to
satisfy their customers. satisfied is an understatement!
i'm impressed.
i added a double ball connector and an extra ram arm to
extent the cradle to my fingertips and it's still more
sturdy than the average mount. there are so many options
once you discover the diversity of the Ram mount

Otterbox cover. Keeps phone secure while utilizing the 1/8"
plug for auxilary stereo hook up and the phone's charging
port. Had to trim foam on left side of squeezing mechanism
so it did not push on the volume down button. Nick, December 28, 2010 I love this mount its strong its perfect for my IPhone 4 berni, December 2, 2008 I have an iPhone which is in a case and was looking for an in-car mount,
the medium Universal worked for me however I did end getting a slightly
longer arm for the vehicle application I have, looking to get an arm with
the additional 1 inch ball to mount my GPS also. Great product excellent
quality.
