Recent reviews for this item: Crash, April 11, 2011 This mount works pretty well, but I had a few problems on
the first ride with it. I mounted it on a Husaberg FE450,
on the handlebars. On the first ride with the mount only a
mile or so from camp on singletrack I took a hard hit to
the front wheel and ejected my gps. A couple of zip ties
and I was good to go again. Also I was using AA batteries
and noticed the gps would shut off randomly. I'm guessing
the insane vibration and shock coming through the bars and
mount was the problem here (not ram mount's fault). I'm
looking into wiring it into the bike's electrical system
now. Under normal riding conditions the mount performs
well. With hard riding and race conditions I'd recommend
zip ties or safety wire to secure your gps into the mount.
