Recent reviews for this item: Patrick S, April 30, 2013 Picked this up as I needed something for my montana and thislooked to fit the bill. Overall it has worked great so far (justgot back from a 1600 mile trip that included on and off road usage).
Good: Solid connector for the Montana. Dust cover for connector pins when device not attached. Can "lock" device to mount, done with a star screw.
Bad: Horrible manual (doesn't really explain squat). All wires connected up to the last 1.5' which means the audio cable can't be run separately on the bike from the power. No dust cover for the headphone jack to keep grit out. Brian, January 1, 2013 This is a very rugged and well constructed product. The
only issue I had with the item is I would like to see a
more complete product description sent with the mount. As
an example I still don't known what all the wires that were
in the harness were designed to do. It functions perfectly
for the application that I wanted so I was not concerned
about all the extrs wires. It is a great product but needs
to be more user friendly for people like myself who are not
very technical.
