This item was a littl tricky to install and I use a
different method to install it on my CBR929RR. Becuase the
sport bike clutch bolts and Ram mount bracket were close to
upper shock struts I decided to install it to the clamp bolt
that holds the handle bar on the left side(this is the one
bolt that sits below the upper shock strut). This was
tricky because I need to buy a longer M6 bolt and had to
file the inside of the mounting bracket that came with the
Ram mount and install it at an angle to be able to twist and
see the GPS once installed. After I got it installed it
sits in a perfect spot to be seen while driving and it does
not obstruct my view of the gauges or any operation of the
bike. It is now one slick install.

I needed an extra mount for my Quest II for a motorcycle.
This mount filled the bill perfectly - simple to mount on
the handlebars (also fits a few different diameters of bars,
like bicycle bars, etc.), simple to place the unit into and
remove AND holds the GPS very securely even on bumpy roads.
It does the trick and the price is right.

Mounted on the left handlebar of my Goldwing. Very solid
mount & power cord works well when disconnected from
original mount & used with this one.
