Mounted it on my 2005 Yamaha Royal Star Tour Deluxe. I thought I had to use the U bolt option, but I was quite surprised when I removed the back half of my front brake clamp and bolted it in its place.

All you Harley bagger guys looking for a sturdy and decent priced GPS mount, this mount works perfect and looks quite decent when mounted. I Have a 2005 Harley Ultra and am very pleased the way it mounted on the bars using the U-bolt option in the kit. Mounted bolts towards dash and installed on the left side, it can be adjusted low enough behind a 10" windshield and allows clear viewing of the left side gauges. I used a small srip of vulcanizing rubber elec. tape to protect the bar. Mount is durable and all black and blends out with dash. Can't go wrong for the total cost and the transaction and delivery by gpscity was excellent.

The GPS holder fits perfectly for my Tom-tom 4.3" GPS using
the 3" arm that comes with the package. I also purchased
the 1.75 " arm and cup holder with foam liner. The 1.75"
arm is equally great for both items.
The only issue I had was that the screws provided were too
short when using the spacers on the clutch/brake mount.
I had to purchase 2.5" screws and cut 1/8" off them to fit
properly.
I contacted GPSCity and spoke to someone about this as it
had also mean mentioned in a previous review a year or so
ago, I suggested then contact the RAM supplier and inform
them of this.
The U-bolt attachment for the handlbars works great as well
if you prefer connecting this way.

I feel this is one of the best items I've purchased for my
Goldwing. I used the original suction cup mount on the
windshield and had the TomTom fall 3 times from hitting
sharp bumps in the road. With the RAM mount this is very
secure and easily removed when stopping somewhere. Great buy
