 		 The long arm vibrates too much for use with the suction cup in a car. It has to be restrained at the gps end, or solidly attached at the base end.

 		 This item & the other items that were part of this order were to compliment many other "RAM" components that I use in my job as a M.N.R. Pilot & with my Amateur Radio, RC Flying, & Photography Hobbies that complimnet other activities such as Search & Rescue !!

 		 As with all RAM products, this is a well-made, high quality item that performs as expected, if not better.

 		 I used the RAM mount to put a GPS on my rembent bike. The GPS is now far enough from the frame to allow me to also mount a headlight. It was trivial to switch out my existing shorter arm for this one.
