between the windshield halfs on a Piper Cherokee. Had to
shorten the screws a bit, and required 2 arm sections to
position correctly, but is rock solid when installed. Terry, June 20, 2012 This item works as advertised. It is extremely durable and
well thought out. It has rubber that protects the surface it
is mounted on. I use it in my kayak and recently on a houseboat. Gary, May 31, 2011 Works well, holds tight on the dash of Cessna 172. I think
the rubber caps on the screw work well in older 172's.
Unfortunately I have to remove them in the newer Cessna 172
R&S models. This leaves marks on the underside of the dash.
I think flat cap for the screw or a bar between the screws
would work better.
