I attempted to put this on the handle bars of my enduro. Just as I began to tighten it, it cracked in half where the ball screws into it. It was either a bad batch of mounts or a poor design. I believe this part is intended only for mounting to the brake or clutch clamp, although the photo shows it with a u-bolt on handle bars. However, RAM has a great warranty and GPS City sent me a new one.

This double ball mount is a follow-up purchase to attach a
NY EZ Pass Tag with or without my Garmin GPS on a
motorcycle. I can't say enough about the quality and
selection of the RAM products. With the devices removed
from my bike when not needed only the ball mounts are left
and they blend well with the bike for that factory clean
appearance. I did not want new age look on my 1981 Honda. I
am not a die hard biker, I just know and appreciate quality
engineering and construction. I will put off a purchase for
years until I find the quality and value I require. You can
not go wrong with RAM. gpscity.com is my go to location for
my motorcycle mounting needs, great website and service.

An excellent mount for holding my MP3 player and GPS in the
middle of my handlebars. Doesn't come with padding but an
old mouse pad minus the fabric cover works wonders.

Just be careful tightening it around the bars, as I
ended snapping the first one (Ram's warranty dept was
A1)....Should really come with installation
instructions telling you how much torque to put on the
bolts...
