not only not support the weight, but I couldn't shift
properly. I traded that in for this floor mount,and it is
perfect! I use it for both my phone and iPad (switching out
2 different heads), and love the position so I can keep my
eyes (mostly) on the road, and it does not impede the
comfort of my passenger. My only complaint is that is
wobbles a little when driving (especially with the iPad in
it), but not enough to make me not use it. Also, great

good height for viewing, much better than using the suction
mount that came with the gps. Install was simple. Glad I

for my iphone but this turned out to be a very heavy duty
mounting solution more suitable for an ipad or even a
laptop...way to much for a simple iphone mounting
solution. Extremely solid and well built unit. Returned
for a different solution.
