Recent reviews for this item: Arne Biermans, September 25, 2007 I installed this in my Jeep Wrangler for use with a Street Pilot 2610 unit. The rod is hard to bend, the ONE allen screw in the bottom of the base is far too flimsy and cheap. The unit is either in the way of the stick or the glove box. The rod also interferes with the tilting of the seat. This does NOT work well with a unit as fat as the 2610. I will be upgrading to one of the new Nuvi units and I think it will work better with a thinner GPS unit like the Nuvi's. The unit came with the wrong manual and a part missing. Granted, they shipped out the missing part right away but overall it feels 'cheap' and certainly not high quality. Overall I would not recommend this.
