I found this device very easy to install in a minimum amount of time with limited tools needed. Directions are simple to follow

The main reason I purchased this product is to hold the
tablet in a place for my daughters to watch movies in the
back seat. It holds the talent securely, that's for sure.
It also solves the issue of laying the tablet down on the
seat between the girls so they no longer need to crane their
necks. Also, it allows the tablet to be placed in the
centre and not to one side or the other. It has to be fair,
no?
I took the longer goose-neck arm in anticipation that the
one included would not be long enough to do the job. I was
right.
I definitely recommend this product.
There are two drawbacks, though. First, it does not
accommodate the case of choice I use. I purchased another
and, although it's not a shortcoming of the Ram product, it
is an inconvenience.
Second, because of the length of the arm, there is a great
deal of sway. I get that there will be some sway while
driving, but it is excessive. So far I haven't yet found a
solution to minimize the sway but am optimistic that some
bungee-like string can do the job.
I cannot be the only one confronting this sway issue. Providing some solutions such as tie-downs, or other options on the site would be helpful. Again, I would not expect a completely sway-free product, but minimizing it would be helpful.
This is a product concern, NOT a concern about GPScity. In
fact, GPScity exceeded all expectations around product
availability, service, speed of order fulfillment -
especially given the fact that I placed my order so close to
the holidays. No complaints there.

After reading the reviews I decided to give the Ram system a
try. Overall I am very pleased with the Ram mount and the
only negative thing is the vibration caused from bumpy
roads. The vibe isn't enough to make me send it back and
eventually I will add a brace to steady it a bit.
The description says it won't hold an iPad with an Otterbox
Defender case, but it does! You just can't have the
detachable screen cover on the backside when clamped in the
Tab-Tite.
Instead of using the supplied socket head pinch bolt on the
mounting base to secure the "Rigid Flex" bar, I opted to use
a bicycle seat post quick release to do the job. This way I
can remove the assembly without needing tools when the extra
room is required. You have to work a bit to get the rigid
flex bar to release due to the serrations caused from the
base gripping it, but it isn't too bad. I also had to
fabricate an additional angle iron piece to mount the base
because my Jeep has a weird set-up for mounting the seats.
Not a fault of the Ram mount.
It is great using the iPad for a GPS and the large screen is
something that even Helen Keller could see!
All said, it is a brilliant set-up and I'm glad to have it.

A little misleading as I thought it would bolt to existing
seat brackets.
Quite simple to install other than drilling holes etc.
