I belive the right mirror hole is a reverse thread, soit would not work on the right. Attached w/ an X-grip, myIphone 5 is visible & out of the way of the controls. I love it!

Rico, February 18, 2013 This item fits perfectly in the Yamaha FJR1300's handelbar threaded mirror hole that's usually covered with a plastic cover as it's not used on this motorcycle... Just be sure to use Loctite blue to keep it from rotating when in use.
