for a cobra bass boat worked out perfect. The cobra
bassboat has a stainless steel rail which runs along the
drivers side. There was no other way to mount a regular
mount. after talking to the rep. I learned which mount to
use. this was the clamp style perfect for the said bass
boat and lowrance 9 Gen 2 touch screen. lt, November 24, 2011 I bought the whole package for my HB 998 SI. I drop mine in
the water one day when remove it from the base. this one is

hassle, time consuming, and an additional expense to get
express mounts to exchange it. The product does work, but
it is very expensive for what you get. The mfg. advertised
the Ram mount fit my fish finder (Lowrance). I had to drill
holes in the fish finder mount to get the 2 surfaces to
mate up.
