| I got this for a Nuvi 350 in a car and didn't want to use
the standard RAM mount because of the need to connect the
power cable separately. I found that it works great was not
too lose. I can see where it might be if it was used off
road or on a motorcycle but for a car, it works well. Pair
it with the Cradle Plate Suction Mount Lite RAP-B-166-2U and
the piece form the OEM mount and you have a great solution. | |

| GPS City was kind enough to send me this replacement item,
to see if it would fix a problem I had with my GPS falling
off the Ram Mount. Unfortunately it didn't, but at least
they tried. Thanks. | |

| I thought this would be a more secure mount for my GPS than
using the suction cut mount. I was wrong. I read the other
review after I bought it. My bad. I wouldn't trust this on
my motorcycle. ram should make a cradle mount for my C530
Garmin. | |

| Clearly not well designed for the C550 or C580 GPS unit. It
flops around and will eventually fall off and ding your
tank. Or it will fall off the motorcycle and be lost. The
OEM Garmin ball is much more secure and trustworthy. Ram
Mount should come up with a cradle design rather than rely
on an undersized ball. | |
