Highly recommended. Milton, May 11, 2010 Mount is excellent with one serious exception: the
combination of the mount and the LS800 weighs approx 2.5
lbs. The 1" ball and socket arrangement is too weak to
control the combination unless the mount is positioned so
that it rests on something. I have mine on my boat for use
as a GPS charter and the first ball arrangement snapped off
when the mount was "up on the air". Repositioning the mount
so that the bottom edge rested on the dashboard solved the
problem at the cost of flexibility of viewing angle.
