It is a perfect mount for the Motorola Xoom. It holds tight
and clips right.

I have 3 vehicles that this mount will be used in, a sports
car, pickup and SUV. Each vehicle has a modern sculped dash
that will require a careful placement of the tablet cradle
to allow maximum access to the tablet but retain
accessibility to the vehicle HVAC and Radio controls. This
by far the toughest part of the install.
As for the mount itself, it holds the tablet in any
position and has been designed to leave all ports, speakers
and buttons open to the user. The tablet is placed in the
bottom of the cradle and then the top is pushed back into
place past a small roller that holds it in. Things I like
about this mount is that although it holds the tablet
securely it doesn't feel like I am going to break the
screen trying to get it in (that roller really helps),
secondly the tabs that extend around onto the front at the
bottom of the tablet (in landscape orientation) and the
roller clip at top are barely visible when the tablet is in
place giving ts an overall very clean look.
I plan to use the Xoom tablet as not only a navigation aid
but a media playback center as well, because of this I
wanted the best, cleanest implimentation available, these
are not 'work' vehicles so presentation is important.
I have a Ram Mount for my ASUS UMPC, so I can use the ball
mounts and extension arms for the latest toy in the crib!
It is nice that a manufacturer designed a system that is
flexible and can be used with new genrations of devices by
only changing the cradle itself, well done!
I looked at other mounts for the Xoom before I bought this
one, none were are well designed and clean as the Ram Mount
and had as wide a set of options for the support arm. Add
to this, a price that makes sense, especially if you
already have Ram mounts in play, then the decision is
clear.

This unit does exactly what it's supposed to do. It holds my
Xoom firmly on the yoke of my airplane. There are two spots
on the back that you can attach a ball, I chose to outer-
most spot. The unit can hold the Xoom in either direction
(think right side up or upside down), the Xoom doesn't care,
it's just flips the screen. BUT, if you get it in upside
down, you don't have access to the power button on the back
which can be a problem if the screen times out on you. Other
than that, I'm happy.
