The magnetic pen holder is also a very good feature. Mike T., October 25, 2010 The Multi-Pad works as you would expect. Pretty basic item
but plenty sturdy. I bought a universal 1" ball mount to go
with it and the screw kit. The kit had two different length
screws. I tried the shorter ones first but it seemed like
they were not long enough to grab the hidden nuts inside the
Multi-Pad. Then I used the longer screws. The were too
long and as I tightened them, they spread the two halves of
the Multi-Pad apart and the hidden nuts feel out of their
retainers and dropped into the body of the Multi-Pad. I
tried to separate the halves to access the nuts to put them
back in their retainers but I could not find a way to get
the halves apart without destroying the pad, so I ended up
destroying it. Oh well. I bought another Multi-Pad and
this one had two screws already in the back of it for
mounting the universal ball. I don't believe the firs tone I
bought had the two screws. These worked fine. Even though
it seems like the screw is not threading into the nut, give
it a few more turns until the mount tightens up. It will. Ivan, September 21, 2010 Sturdy for note taking. Can be positioned for easy safe
