but the electrical contacts do not stay
connected. As you ride, the unit will
constantly switch between battery and bike
power. I'm concerned that this will ultimately
damage the receiver. Poor design as there is no
simple solution. Greg, December 31, 1969 I ordered the RAM cradle and QPAC because I was not convinced the Garmin model was secure enough for me when riding my motorcycle. I'm completely happy with the RAM setup. It works very well on my BMW R1100R motorcycle. It positively secures the Quest without fear that it might accidentally be dislodged. It is a very well designed product.
