The holder is not up to RAM's great work... The holder covers the headset port and the micro chip bay. A very easy modification for them to do. The clamp roller at the top is very strained when in place and I'm fearful that it will break...

I ordered this cradle without checking to make sure it was
the right one for my tablet, a Samsung Galaxy Tab II 7".
This cradle is very well made and designed but was the wrong
size. I called gpscity's tech support and they were
outstanding and offered to help but I modified the cradle to
fit my tablet by bending it with a heat gun. I highly
recommend this tablet for the tablet it fits and gpscity
whose tech support actually called me back within an hour
(like they said they would).

This cradle fits the Samsung Galaxy Tab perfectly. Once in
place it doesn't move. Short of an auto accident, it's not
going to come out of the cradle.

RAM first came out with a different cradle for the Galaxy
Tab that didn't work, GPS City quickly reimbursed me for it,
and put me in line for this remodeled cradle when it was
released by RAM. This one works great! I've used it on my
bicycle, as well as in my 4WD on the washboard roads of
Death Valley. Easily holds the Tab vertically or
horizontally, and has access to all buttons and jacks.
The Tab slips easily under two corner holds at the bottom,
then a roller at the top rolls over the top. This is so
secure that it's almost too tight (but it's not!). To
release, just push up on the roller and slide the Tab out
from the back.
