Recent reviews for this item: Ida Mtn Boy, May 4, 2013 I ordered one sold by another internet vendor since GPS City did not have any in stock and did not know how soon they would have them in. I was expecting to make a slight mod to accommodate the headphone plug on my Galaxy Tab 2 7.0. Lo and behold, the one I received shows the unit has been modified with the roller tab having been moved slightly off center. The plug now goes in with no problem. The Tab 2 7.0 fits very nicely into the cradle. The locking roller really snaps it in tight.
The model I ordered was listed in the product description as the RAM-HOL-SAM6. However, the model number molded into the cradle I received is RPR-182-SAM6. Must be really new. Rammount.com website doesn't even find it by that number! Same with GPSCity. The new design must be why stock is low at most every seller.
I haven't put it into use yet but I expect it to work just great.
