Recent reviews for this item: Richard, May 9, 2013 I bought three of these for the GPS, smartphone, and radar detector mounts on my motorcycle. I use a RAM Locking Cradle Holder (which is riveted closed) for my Garmin Nuvi 255W GPS. I have my smartphone and radar detector attached using two of the RAM Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Reservoir Base units (I replaced the attaching screws with s/s tamper-proof Torx screws). I use a RAM magnetic mount for the radar detector and a spring-loaded unit for my phone. Obviously my hopes are that these theft obstacles will deter some n'er-do-wells from molesting my motorcycle and they will move on to easier prey.
