Vehicle Laptop mount in 2007 and solved my problems. This
purchase was my second such mount for another vehicle.
The mount holds the laptop just where I need it without any
worry about breakage due to falling on the floor when
stopping or turning hard, or having the power cord socket
become damaged due to stress.
The RAM-VB-146-SW1 is very sturdy and using the quick
release allows easy removal and installation in seconds. It
won't fit under the 2 front seat bolts in 2012 Dodge Caravan
so I modified the mounting plate slightly and mount it under
the left side of the passenger seat. ken mitchell, June 21, 2011 When loosening nuts under passenger seat remember there are
a total of 5 bolts. Make sure you loosen all before
attempting to inset lower plate mount. Keith, July 12, 2007 Well.......It would be nice to have directions.Lots of bolts, washers, etc. Guess it isn"t "Lightning" fast install after all. Why isn,t there any ?? I looked on Ram website....Need a day or 2 to figure that out. Oh..& I have not used product yet. May take a while before I can. Tom, May 17, 2007 I chose this model for my International 9000 series Semi. It fits perfectly using the two bolts which hold down the passenger seat. Adjustable, it keeps the keyboard and screen perfectly in view and within reach for quick changes on my GPS software.
