time in. It has become my mobile office. The ram mount keeps
my laptop from sliding off the seat. I have been using the
Ram mount for quite a few years now. I purchased a new base
bracket and it was very simple to install. The tray and
armature fit perfectly with the new bracket. Probably do not
need so many parts with new bracket as some were duplicate
of what I already had maybe would bring the price down a
little bit. The over cost is not bad though. Tony, September 26, 2012 easy to install and remove and works great. the single pin
release is great for quick removal, it does shimmy a little
more down the bumpy off roads than my other one. but i
prefer the new one. Fire Guy, August 22, 2012 I went from a 2002 Chevy 2500HD to a 2012 Chevy 3500HD and
got a new base mount, It's good because I can use the old
Laptop mount with the new base mount. But it's fair (or
maybe Poor) because it doesn't allow the glove box to open
all the way, maybe 3/4 is all. I may recommend to a friend
but would suggest they shop around if the glove box opening
is a concern.
