Recent reviews for this item: Rossta, March 5, 2013 The RAM family of mounts is a combination of various pieces that fit your products that get paired with other pieces that fit you or your bike. It is very versatile and allows a huge number of combinations, but achieves that through non-optimal solutions. I use several RAM mounts and most work well and are sturdy. But, I am using this belt clip with the SPOT mount and the combination ends up with the device sticking out very far from your belt. That means it has lots of twist as it falls and rotates which results in discomfort. I also have tried it attached to the top of my backpack or straps on the pack. Again, it twists and rotates downward. Instead of discomfort, up there, it results in the SPOT facing down and getting a poor signal. So, I would suggest, when it comes to belt clips, get one that is a single piece fit closely to the device. Kevin, December 2, 2009 Works as described. Unit clips in and out with ease the
finger release works easily with one hand. Clip itself has
a cool, rubbery texture and clips securely to the belt. Vince, March 9, 2009 This belt clip is a wonderful to even find for
the unit it fits. I don't think anyone else makes
one for my model. Now I can go from the car to
the trail and not wonder how I'm going to carry
my GPS.
