This mounting system is so great because you do not have to remove the GPS from the mount (the rubber band around mine is already loose from my mounting in car). And GPScity is rocket fast with shipping.

I'm sorry we haven't put it on the bike yet. We had to have
work done so we are waiting until we can pick up the bike.
But the service was super fast on delivery, no complaint
there.

Hi: At first glance, I liked this mount. I attached it to
my road bike and did a lot of riding with it. After about 6
mounts of pretty consistent use, the wings on the spring
loaded portion of the mount broke off on me. I'm not sure
if that was just an issue for that production run, but I am
now looking at a different set-up for mounting my Etrex
Vista CX. Good luck. :)

I used this mount to attach my Garmin eTrex Vista HCx to the
stem of my mountain bike. The mount is secure. It is easy
to insert the GPS into the holder. The holder is easily
removed leaving a small mounting attachment.
I have only two minor quibbles:
1) When mounting on the stem, the vertical angle cannot be
adjusted. (Obviously this is not an issue when mounting on
the handlebar).
2) The holder is rotated a degree or two relative to the
stem - just enough to be noticeable. It's not enough to be
a real distraction, but the GPS never looks like square with
the bike.
