for my Nuvi3790t. This does a great job and affixing the
mount to the bike was easy and straight-forward.
My only complaint about the mount is how tight the GPS unit
fits inside. Sure, secure is good, especially on my mountain
bike, but it's REALLY tight. If you need to take the unit
out of the mount more than once a week or so, you'll be
concerned with the wear and tear this mount may put on your
unit. There is a quick release, which I use daily, but that
won't allow you to transfer the unit to use in your car.
All in all, great mounting solution. Simply beware of how

Looks streamlined and fits onto handlebars extremely well.
It is quite difficult to get GPS in and out of the plastic
mount which I am concerned will break over time, although it
needs to be a tight fitting so that it doesn't fall out when
riding on bumpy roads.
Overall Very happy with this item Andy M., July 6, 2011 I bought this RAM mount so I could use my Garmin nuvi 3760
on my road bike. It's a great solution, since RAM uses a
small-- make that miniscule-- adapter that you can keep
permanently mounted on the handlebar. It probably weighs
half an ounce, if that. When you want to use the GPS, you
just snap on the larger part of the mount, which in turn
holds the GPS unit.
The nuvi snaps securely into place and I find it very handy
to use when riding in unfamiliar places. The RAM mount is
secure, yet you can twist it up and down to fine-tune the
viewing angle.
All in all it's a very well-designed mounting solution,
especially since you have only a tiny piece in place when
you're not using the GPS.
